SEA WiFi Upgrade Complete

Seattle-Tacoma’s WiFi upgrade is officially done, and the speeds are legitimately fast now. I ran a test during a layover last week and pulled 75 Mbps — across all concourses, no dead spots that I could find. That’s faster than a lot of people’s home internet.

Best part? It’s still free and unlimited for everyone. No tiered access, no time limits, no “enter your email to continue” nonsense. You connect and it just works. Probably should have led with this — SEA was already decent on WiFi, but this upgrade puts them near the top of any airport speed ranking I’ve seen.

I ended up doing a full video call from the gate without a single drop. That’s what makes WiFi upgrades like this endearing to anyone who tries to work from airports — when they actually invest in the infrastructure instead of just slapping a “free WiFi” sticker on a 5 Mbps connection, it makes a real difference in how you spend your layover.
